Exciting times! The Anderson Group, who have been tasked with creating a Master Plan for the lakes (amongst other things) is to hold public consultations on the initial version of their Plan. We don’t know what’s in it, but we can’t wait to see. Please spread the word about the consultations and try to make it to one of them to see what they have in mind.

Saturday 28th Feb @ David Lloyd, 11am to 4pm.

Monday 2nd March @ Queen Emma Primary School, 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

(Click on the venue names for Google map).

See you there.

I won’t be able to attend the public consultation over the Cambridge Lakes project. Is there any other way I can view and comment on the proposals?

    Very disappointing meeting.
It is now clear to me this is not about the lakes. This is about the commercial land south of Coldhams Lane. This is what the Anderson Group are after (they even admitted it). However everything seems to be placated by this nice vision of opening the lakes etc etc.
I understand the need for more land (commercial or housing) but I feel people are seriously misled here by talking about the lakes when the main talking point should the commercial land and it’s impact on Cherry Hinton!
